Obama Likes Taliban’s Future in Afghanistan

Taliban, please help!!!!!

Taliban, please help!!!!!

Obama developed some careful plans, in not-close-enough association with the Joint Chiefs (who believe Afghanistan is a lost cause) to snatch a snazzy, Iraq-style military victory for his own legacy. Following this careful study, Obama decided to “surge” our sons and daughters into Afghanistan, to purchase a victory he could call his own.

But negative feedback from the Joint Chiefs has been persistent. So, Obama went to the State Department (the same people who think “Peregruzka” in Russian means “Reset;” it actually means overcharged or overloaded to the chagrin of our Secretary of State) to study the reliability and efficacy of a political liason with the Taliban in Afghanistan (or he should have).

Obama’s next plan is an alliance with the Taliban which is joined at the hip with al-Qaeda and which supported 9-11 even more than Jeremiah Wright and Bill Ayers and Edward Said and Rashid Khalidi and a bunch of Obama’s Chicago friends did (except maybe Blago).

WASHINGTON — President Obama declared in an interview that the United States was not winning the war in Afghanistan and opened the door to a reconciliation process in which the American military would reach out to moderate elements of the Taliban, much as it did with Sunni militias in Iraq.

Meanwhile, Obama, how are you going to explain your military alliance with Taliban, to our own military; who are already so totally

    not

devoted to your leadership?

Afghanistan is not the same place as Iraq. Cash you pay to one Taliban to kill another Taliban will end up killing our own military. Paying the Pakistanis to kill Taliban, or even to kill al Qaeda doesn’t work any better for you than it did for Bush, does it? Paying the Taliban to kill Taliban, generally as a strategy in Afghanistan; now there’s a whopper. You must think we’re all Journalists; NY Times Journalists, at that.

Or is it that, only the Taliban can help you now.
